It is now feb 8 continuing to make my goals. Last week and this week I am working on 200 pushups a day and 400 situps. Then I skip the weekend. Ill see what I like best. I felt really good Monday but yesterday and today have been rough. We will see how it goes. I really like the muscles and so does my wife!

Ill post totals at the end of the month
Keeping on, meeting daily goals (at least 150 push ups and 300 sit ups per day).
Experimenting with increasing push ups and sit ups so that I can have 1 day off per week.

Using Traxitall on my ipod and evernotes to track my daily reps.
Have not done any yet today but should be no problem. Getting easier I did one set of 120 situps yesterday and no problems.
yesterday had 1580 pushups 3160 situps since Jan1. Adds up fast!

Digging a ditch 50K pushups.
A few years ago I had to replace the water line to my house. Could not get power tools to the location so I dug it myself. 50 feet 3 foot deep 2 feet wide (a lot of rocks).
My boys were amazed when I was laying the pipe in the hole (after putting down sand).
How did you dig such a long trench?
One shovel at a time. It was also the hottest summer Seattle has seen in a long time.

Day 1, 100000 situps and 50000 push ups in one year!
Joined the 100 and 50 club at Kims Tae Kwon Do in Renton.
I guess there are 20 people in our school signed up right now as well as some instructors across the US. Each of us will do 100000 situps and 50000 push ups (I guess they are pressups in Europe) in one year. I will start with sets of 20 and move up.
It will be a slow start for me as I do not want to get my cast sweaty. Tuesday I go for another Dr visit and hope I will be able to shower without an assistant after that. Currently managing the cast requires help while I shower. It should be easier towards the end of the year than the beginning.

20 per hour should get me a good start. sit ups I am not worried about, 50 or 100 at a time should be pretty easy.

So now 49900 push ups left. Piece of cake! Ill just update the numbers from now on and list 100's Ill be doing sets of 20 through out the day until I hit 140 each day. When I start doing larger sets Ill note it.
Made 140 for the day 49860 left. 100 sit ups down. More tomorrow (tomorrow is shower day so Ill be even by then.) sit ups are easy for me but this will be a challenge.
Im sure tomorrow will be harder, I feel a bit sore now. As Mr Gibson (one legged High School Wresting coach) used to say best cure for sore is whatever made you sore.
